Where are We Now? A Discussion on the LGTBQ Rights Landscape
Celebrate Pride Month with WIN by joining us for a conversation about the state of the current LGBTQ rights landscape. This event will take place during the anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, which is how pride got its start. We will speak with some of the foremost experts on the biggest legal and policy issues facing the LGBTQ community, and panelists will provide information on how audience members can join the fight as both allies and individuals whose livelihoods are at stake. We will touch on a number of topics, including barriers to health care access, employment discrimination in the wake of Bostock v. Clayton County, Georgia, discrimination against asylum seekers, transgender athlete bans, COVID-19 vulnerability, the census, and more.
