Do you know how to respond when your friend begins to experience a panic attack? What about when a loved one begins to withdraw? Join WIN for a Mental Health First Aid Training that will provide attendees with the tools to provide support and resources to individuals dealing with a mental health challenge, as well as the tools to spot the signs of a mental health challenge. Take this training, and the accompanying written exam, to become a certified Mental Health First Aider. The course also involves a two-hour self taught portion that must be completed prior to July 11, as well as a four-hour, interactive virtual training on Saturday, July 11. The cost of the course is $65, and it includes a three-year certification.
